Barthes' Enigma Theory

Barthes' enigma theory suggest that a text (t.v, film, poster etc) portrays a mystery that draws in an audience, making them ask questions and become intrigued in the piece. An example of this is a murder mystery, which doesn't reveal the identity of the murder until the end of the story.

It can be argued whether we will be using this theory within our music video. the only question that could be asked with our music video could be what happens between the two leading characters, as the music video will end of them talking.
