180 Degree Rule

The 180 degree rule is a guideline that's used while filming which states that 2 characters in the same scene should have the same right/left relationship to each other. An imanginery line is used, and if the camera passes over this line it makes the scene look odd, as it looks as though the characters are facing the same direction.


We will use the 180 degree rule within our music video to show the relationship between the lead characters in the narrative part of the music video.
