Photo's of the Band at the Location

Once we had finished filming the boys we took a few photo's of them that we may possibly use for the digipak or magazine advert when it comes to creating these.
The above photo is my favourite of the three that look similar, this is because you can see that all the boys are wearing different tops, showing off their individuality, however they're all wearing jeans which links them together as a group. Another aspect of his photo that I like is that all four boys are looking in different directions, and having Jack, the lead singer and lead male within the music video looking directly at the camera shows how he is possibly more important than the rest of the boys.

Out of these two pictures the one above is the one I prefer more, even though they are extremely similar. I like how the boys are all standing together and it seems as though they are all looking in a similar direction. Jack again seems like the odd guy out as he is the only one of the band that isn't resting on the pool table which would show independence and possibly masculinity or responsibility, representing his as maybe "the leader of the pack". I think this would be a good photo for the back of the digipak and possibly the first photo at the front, or even have them reversed, so their backs is what they buyer will see first, enticing them in. We could also change the colour to make the guys look more mysterious.

Filming Pictures

One of the guys in our music video, Tom Keenan, who I've known for a long time asked us if his dad could come and take some photo's as progress for the band. We thought this would be good so that we could use the photo's he took as our evidence instead of us trying to take photo's and film at the same time. Below are the photo's:

Lights, Camera, Action

Today we're going to go and film the bulk of our music video which is the narrative. The band are going to meet us at The Magnet Pub, and we shall go from there!
I've spoken to the landlady a few times, and we finally managed to agree on today, which luckily the band could also do.

I can't wait to get started, we haven't got long to film due to the pubs opening hours, but we'll be taking our storyboards so we know what we're doing.
Picture's will be uploaded of the filming progress later.

Locations for Our Music Video

Below are the two main locations for our music video that we are doing to use.

The Charles Ground Football Club, Deal
We decided to give the band a little input into the music video as we didn't feel it be right to boss them about, and they may not have wanted to help us out. Therefore they've said for us to us this football club where they'll be doing a gig so that there is a performance within the music video, as well as narrative.
We agreed with this, and loved this idea of having them performing and showing us what they can do. It also means that we'll be able to get some shots of their fanbase and the audience of the gig, making the video more realistic and not choreographed.

The Magnet, Deal
We have decided to use this local pub to create the narrative of the music video. It's a very spacious pub and has an edgy feel about it, which we though would be good for our music video. It also contains a dart board and pool table which will be great props for us to use. Pubs/clubs are very common locations seen within music videos of the indie/rock genre, therefore people will be able to guess the genre.
